Victoria market

I woke up really early this morning. Usually I'll continue my sleep after the Subuh prayer cause it's cold and it's nice to sleep. Lol. But today my sleep was distorted. My housemates wanted to go to the Victoria market. Kak Kerry was willing to bring us there. So we have to left the house early as we would be having barbeque at Brighton Beach at 10am.

Vic market is a nice place where you can buy souvenirs and some other stuff. If it's in Malaysia, it is called uptown/downtown. But here the things are much more better lah. Hoho. At Vic market, you have to got enough cash or else you won't be enjoying it. Lol. Lesson learnt. XD

We only managed to walk along the first row of shops as we need to rush to the beach for the barbeque. It took us approximately less than an hour to reach the beach. When I first saw the beach, I was speechless. The scenery was superb! It was windy this morning so there are many yachts sailing on the sea.

The gathering was attended by the students of Monash Uni & Melbourne Uni. There are juniors as well as the seniors. Oh, I met my former class rep in Taylor's, Gajan! He looks good with the new glasses and new hp yaw. Lol. This event was organized by FAMSY. The food were nice and I ate twice. HAHA. Then we went down to the beach and took some pictures there. It would be a waste if no pictures were taken.

Kak Kerry supposed to have a discussion but it was being cancelled last minute. After the bbq we went back to Vic market. I guess Adidah must have had great time shopping. Hoho. Then we went to DFO which stands for Direct Factory Outlet. Cool place. I like it if I have the money for shopping. Lol. We were there until the shop were all closed. Lol. I'll just keep my mouth shut who did shopping a lot today. HAHA XD.

Kak Kerry sent us home. I need to get ready to go for swimming with the seniors. Oh I forgot to introduce Kak Kerry. She has graduated from Monash Uni last year and now she's working at one of the hospitals in Clayton. A certified doctor next year, InsyaAllah.

OMG, that was what we did today. Exhausted.

Holla people! Gosh, it's pretty hard to go online here. Telstra still hasn't give me any call yet. I'm tired of waiting and hate it. I need internet pls!

I've moved out from the senior's house in Prince St. And currently I'm living at Evelyn St with 5 other housemates. Interesting housemates. 2 future accountants, 2 future doctors and 2 engineers. Heh. There are 6bedrooms in this single storey house with a kitchen and a living hall. Everyone gets to own their own space. There's also a large space in the backyard. We have an apple tree back there. Hehe. Imagine how big is my house! Lol.

During the night we still don't dare to sleep in our own room all alone. Haha. Since Darras failed to provide us with cool white bulb therefore our house looks like an old castle during the night. Hoho. Pretty romantic sometimes. LOL. Oh Chris, pls ask your electrician to serve us faster! Grr.

So far, I've been to Clayton town, Chadstone and Brandon Park. We went to Clayton town almost everyday I guess. Hoho. It's near but we still need to take a bus. Tiring, yes! Hm, if we don't convert the prices, everything seems cheap. Huhu. I guess I'm now used to it. I don't convert when I shop for things nowadays. Heh.

GTG. I bet I'll get my internet connection tomorrow. See you guys later! Daa!

Homesick

Gosh, I need food. I eat only once a day. It's pretty hard to search for halal food here. Ish. Hopefully everything would be fine once I move in to our own house. Huhu. I miss Malaysia, especially the food. Haih. Everything here closed at 5 so it's kinda bored lah. Heh.

Ohh, I have my Australian number already. I'm using the Three postpaid. The plans that they offer are absolutely different from what we have in Msia. It's kinda weird but it's superb! Lol. Besides that, we even get free 3G phones. Very interesting kan. Hoho. I get myself the N96 as I really need a new phone. But I don't get that for free, I need to add some money. It's still cheap duh! Haha. :p

I enrolled into the Faculty of Business & Economics at Monash yesterday. Mad and I are the only JPA scholars who are doing Accounting in Clayton Monash andddd the two from the three Malays in that faculty. The other one is Adidah; from Felda. I'm not being racist but it's just way too interesting and it's pretty scary yaw! Lol. Hm, tough competition. Gila takut. :s

Hello people. Can't believe I have left Malaysia. Gosh, gila cepat masa. Melb is okay but I still can't get used to it yet. Yalah, first day only kan. Lol. But I wasn't really well today. Haih. Had flu due to the change of weather. The seniors are all friendly. I loike. :p

I'm now staying with a group of seniors at Prince Street. The house is great and the environment is walaa! Very calming. There's no light along the street. It's really dark at night. So you can't really go out at night. Hoho. Besides, there's nothing after 6pm. All shops are closed. Pretty funny duh. ;p

I've gtg. I pinjam my senior's internet. Probably I won't be able to update until I get a house with the phone connection. So, byebye!

I MISS MALAYSIA! I MISS EVERYONE! :(

Road to Melbourne

It's Valentines Day. Nothing special. I don't celebrate. For others, perhaps it's a special day which they celebrate love with their loved ones. Hm, but as for me, that can be done everyday if we want. We don't have to wait for Vday only. Besides it's not encourage to be celebrated by Muslims. That's my opinion. Shut up if you don't agree with me. You're free to click the 'x' button.

Today, 14th February 2009 would be different from previous years. It's an important day. Very important, indeed. Today marked the day which I would be entering a new chapter in life. I'll have to stand on my own feet today onwards. No more daddy, no more mommy. Hm. Everything would be on my own. Hopefully I could survive along this journey. Journey to success. InsyaAllah. :)

Frankly, at this very moment, I still can't believe that I'm doing this. You probably think I'm silly. I know, I'm lucky to have such great opportunity, and therefore I thank Allah for all this. I just finished packing just now. Haha. ;p I guess I should stop now before this post becomes emo. Lol.

I am being ridiculous

It's Tuesday. There's like 3-4days to go? And I have not even started packing. Yeah, you can call me crazy. I've been enjoying my life at home by doing nothing. Mom has been nagging at me but still I did not move my lazy ass to start packing. Haha. She even wanted to call my brother's gf to help me packing. Hoho.

I think mom knows why am I acting this way. I bet everyone knows duh. And I think my best buddies could also know without me even telling. They were at my house yesterday; lepak-ing. We had lunch prepared by mom. We spent the time talking and planning on activities but we ended up going to Aeon Bukit Tinggi buying toiletries. HAHA.

Yesterday had actually made me even heavy-hearted to go. I thought by spending time with them could give me some courage but I guess it turned out differently. Hm. Surprisingly, I'm crying right now. I think I can't write anymore. I just hope that our bond would remain tight eventhough I'm far away. Not only to my friends, but to everyone that I know. :'|

The Best Of Luck

This is the day. The day which some of my friends would be leaving this country for good. As far as I know, those who are going to the Adelaide Univ are leaving today. Quite a number yaw. I don't know about other universities. Heh. Happy for them but at the same time I do feel sad as we can hardly meet although we're in the same country. Hm, for now I'm not crying but I don't know what would happen in the airport later. I hope I will not. Lol. ;p

White Shirt Found

Yesterday I went to AEON Bukit Tinggi accompanied by my brother and Kak Mum. We reached there 9pm. Hoho quite late for shopping right? But I managed to buy a white shirt. I have to wear it with the blazer on the 14th. Boy paid for it. Hehe thank you. I'm gonna ask him to buy for me more shirt from that brand as he will be going to Jakarta tomorrow. Hehe.

Kak Mum shop a work pants for herself. After that we decided to have our dinner. My brother was like " Cakap je nak makan ape. Anything.". Too bad he offered that at the very wrong time. The restaurants were about to close duh. Dang! Jahat punya abang. Grr.

Kak Mum thought I wanted to eat western food so much. So she suggested a place in Kg Baru. It's their friend's restaurant, the Chop N Steak House. We arrived there quarter past 11. We can call that as our supper I guess. Hoho. Luckily the food was nice. I ate a lot although it's almost midnight. Lol. Then we send Kak Mum home and arrived home nearly 2am.

* Felt lucky to have a sister although she has not become my official sister-in-law. :p

It's Confirmed

I was enjoying myself in Lala Land and suddenly something annoys me that my sleep was disturbed. It's the phone ringing. I saw the number and knew it was from JPA. I never knew the number until I read Ili's blog yesterday. Haha. Ohh I sound like a rockstar. My voice was harsh enough to scare little kids duh. Lol.

The man confirmed about the TCs, FA, MC etc. And it's now confirmed that I'll be leaving on the 14th February which is Valentine's day. Leave my family on Valentine's? Sheesh, what a date. I need to be in KLIA at 3pm. 6hours before? Wow. o.O

I need to know my departure date.

And so today I went to college. Need to settle some stuff. I waited for Shaa for a while at the cafe and then we went to Sunway using the Taylor's bus. Save the cab money. Haha. Icha finished her class at 4 so she arrived later. Oh Azmil aka Bo joined us. The only guy, yeah. Hoho.

We watched Bride Wars. It was an awesome movie. You guys should go and watch it, really. I don't think I have to elaborate more about the movie. It wouldn't be fun anymore. Hehe. Just go watch it, seriously. Then, met Sisil and Astry in front of the J.Co. Ohh we took lotsa pictures! Thanks to Buckbuck! LOL.

It's February?

Time flies real fast. It is February already! Gosh, it's the month. The month which honestly I'm not sure whether I should feel excited or vice versa. For now, I don't feel any excitement. None. Everyone was like,

" Bestnya Fara pergi Melbourne! Bestnya!";

"Shopping best kat sana.";

" We'll come over to Australia during the holidays."

I'm nervous, ALONE; without my family by my side or even close friends. I'm scared, seriously. But all I think is my future. And that's why I forced myself to go. Pray for my success people. InsyaAllah I could overcome this fear when I'm there. Amin. :)

Neway, forget all the sadness. Let me keep it to myself. Today I went for a wedding at Yayasan Tun Razak, KL. Actually I don't know what's our relation. Hm, I think there's none. Hoho. It's my cousin's wife's sister. Haha pening. I managed to meet my aunts and uncles plus few cousins for the last time. We took lotsa pictures as though it's our event. Haha funny, indeed. :p
